The Glenview Mansion show was extremely well-received by all who visited. One observer commented that "Janet Maher did a job… nothing short of excellent overseeing and directing all aspects of putting the show together… even from afar in New Mexico, thanks to the internet. And when she did return, a flurry—no, a whirlwind; no—a VERITABLE TORNADO of activity ensued in wrapping up the LMD’s. (That’s short for "Last Minute Details") Well done! It’s a terrific show thanks to all who pitched in. Mary Ott transported art from the Montpelier Art Center, Muffy Oatway transported artworks from her home studio pick-up point, Janet transported artwork from her home studio." A huge THANKS to each of them.
In addition to the Maryland Printmakers who assisted, the success of the show was heavily dependent on the organizational skills of Kathleen Moran, Arts Programs Specialist for the City of Rockville. Her on-site efforts (and the great range of wonderful art provided by the participants) helped to make the entire show a roaring success.
